As a Sugarproof family we don't shun sugar - we save our sugar for the weekends & special occasions! The first Saturday of Fall calls for a homemade Apple Cinnamon Paleo Donut! Full of nutritious ingredients plus some honey & coconut sugar, this was an easy treat for a kid to make! At 12g of added sugar per serving, it is well within the max of 16g of sugar a 6-year-old should have per day. We poured a glass of grass-fed whole milk to balance the sugar with protein & healthy fats.
